What the Toasterland app does and doesn't do with your data, in plain terms and in full.
toasterland.com to load show/track listings and stream or download audio — nothing more.Information you provide. None. The app has no account system, registration, or profile — there is nothing to submit to us in the first place.
Information collected automatically. When the app requests show listings, setlists, or audio files from toasterland.com, our web host may log standard technical information common to any web request — such as IP address, device/OS version, and request timestamps — for operating and securing the server. This is aggregate server-log data; it is not tied to a profile of you and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Information stored only on your device. The app saves a few preferences locally using Android's standard app storage, and never transmits them anywhere:
Server logs described above are used solely to keep toasterland.com and its API running reliably and securely. Locally stored preferences and downloads exist only to make the app work the way you've configured it — they are never read, analyzed, or transmitted by us.
The app integrates with the following platform features to provide playback, not to collect data on our behalf:
We do not integrate any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. The only outside destination the app communicates with is toasterland.com itself, to load its show archive and audio.
Downloaded audio and preferences live only on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can remove downloaded shows at any time from the Downloads screen, or clear all app data by uninstalling the app or clearing storage in Android's app settings. We retain no copy of this information on our servers.
Toasterland is a general-audience music companion app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and — as noted above — the app does not collect personal information from any user in the first place.
Requests to toasterland.com are made over standard secure connections. Because we don't collect personal profiles or account data, there is no user database to secure beyond the technical server logs described in Section 01.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
